Does my subscription auto-renew?＋

Yes — at the end of your rate-lock period (1, 2, or 3 years), your subscription auto-renews into another lock of the same length, at the same rate. We'll email you a reminder 60 days before each renewal so it's never a surprise. If you'd rather switch to month-to-month or stop entirely, toggle "Auto-renew" off in your account up to 60 days before renewal and your subscription will roll into flexible month-to-month after the current lock ends — cancel anytime from there.

Can I cancel mid-lock?＋

Mid-lock cancellation isn't available — that's the trade-off for the locked-in rate and the multi-year discount. The 30-day money-back guarantee covers your first month, after which you're committed through the end of your current lock period. After that, you control everything: stay on auto-renew, switch to month-to-month, or cancel completely. Your data exports cleanly to CSV anytime; we don't hold it hostage.

Integration & data

Which student information systems do you support?＋

Bellnav imports any standard delimited export — pipe-separated, CSV, or tab-separated — which covers virtually every SIS in K–12 and higher education. One-click flows exist for the most common platforms; a mapped CSV import handles everything else.

Does Bellnav replace our SIS?＋

No. Bellnav is a master scheduler, not an SIS. We import from your existing SIS, build the master schedule, and write the result back. Your SIS remains the system of record for grades, attendance, billing, and parent communication.

What about data privacy and student records?＋

All scheduling data is encrypted at rest and in transit. The solver runs in our infrastructure; the LLM layer sees only the constraint graph and request metadata (not PII like addresses or grades). SOC 2 Type II is targeted for the v1.5 release. FERPA-aligned by default.

Why not just let an LLM build the whole schedule?＋

LLMs are next-token predictors with no internal guarantee that two teachers won't be assigned to the same period. WashU research on TRACE-cs found symbolic-plus-LLM hybrids hit 100% accuracy on scheduling explanation vs. 44–49% for LLM-only. We use the solver for correctness and the LLM for clarity — each tool doing its right job.

How big a school do you support?＋

Bellnav scales from a 100-student campus to a multi-thousand-seat university. The AI handles the logic — buildings, rooms, periods, instructors, sections — so size barely changes the experience. Smaller schools see sub-60-second solves; larger institutions get the same correctness with multi-counselor collaboration.

Can students build their own draft schedules?＋

Optional — admins can toggle "Student-driven scheduling" on. When enabled, students see their earned credits and available courses, draft a preferred schedule, and submit it to the counselor for review. The counselor still owns approval; the student saves the counselor a back-and-forth.
